I think one of the reasons I enjoy the holidays so much is all of the stories. All of the "remember the year..." or some such beginning to a memory being retold. Traditions, and the stories they help tell, connect us to each other, the world around us, and to our faith. Advent and the Christmas season enrich our lives because of the past they bring with them even as we make new memories and traditions.

One tradition I look forward to each year is participating in the December Photo Project. This is my fifth year so I can safely say it is a tradition :-) Why don't you join me? You don't have to have a big fancy camera, a cell phone will work just fine. You don't even have to have a blog...just a facebook will be fine.

Sign up and snap a picture a day to help tell the story of your December. It's a sweet tradition.

  1. Sharing our stories is such a good way to connect with others. This is my third year in DPP. You are always so encouraging to people in the group - I enjoy your comments!

I appreciate any thoughts you'd like to share...it makes our visits so much more enjoyable!
