To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common–this is my symphony.~William Henry Channing

DeleteOh, that is tantalizing! I adore snow. I can't wait for snow to come - feet and feet, though we will be lucky to get inches - and you show me such spring beauty - it almost makes me want to skip winter:) - almost! LOL
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your snow! I wish we got some, but alas, we don't so I find beauty where I can :-)
DeleteI so miss the blooms that grace the landscape in the summer! Especially now, when spring is just two (seemingly long) months away!
