    In response to your comment on my blog http://joysjotsshots.blogspot.com/2012/10/wordless-wednesday-30-popular-bird.html (couldn't find your email), I had problems with a couple of squirrels during midsummer. During the fall they haven't been around much. I'm guessing they are busy gathering nuts. Small seeds aren't a big payout for their travel time. During the summer I put a small amount of seed in the feeder where the birds could get to it and harder for the squirrels to get to. That might have frustrated them enough to stop bothering. We'll see if they come back this winter.

    1. We have a miniature gardenia bush in our front yard. The mister will pick one every so often to woo me and I can't resist do flower 'portraits' :-)
